This is my first post about a handmade bag (or anything for that matter).  I'm making little bags embellished with vintage buttons.  Is anyone else doing this?  I'd love to see pictures!  I'm too new to post pictures, so here are the images on Flickr.

Oh, I love vintage buttons! Yours look nice!

My great-great aunt used to have a jar full of them from the 40s on... I really wish my mother hadn't thrown them away.  Undecided

Thanks so much for the feedback!  Nearly all of my buttons have come from Ebay, I'm afraid.  But there are a couple of great button sellers there.  BUTTON LOVE!

Thanks Little Me!  Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's and Hancock Fabrics have been my primary sources for liner fabric, but I'd like to try out some ReproDepot fabrics next time around.  They are VERY cute.

Lovely bag! I've been collecting vintage buttons for awhile and have always wanted to do something like this because some of the buttons look so good together and it would be a waste to use just one by itself. This has inspired me to get to work!

how strange it is to be anything at all

everything adventurous
