I got this really cool white pleather material from Jo-ann's for
like 2 bucks, and decided to make my bf a business card holder
for Valentine's Day.

A little glue and a few stitches later:

It's more like a happy Valloween!

We're not really mushy people, but this ended up with a little
mush because the little heart represents our daughter.  *Aawww!* =)
The stitches are for his *emotional* wounds we healed.

All he has to do to remove a card, is pinch the sides together
at the top.

That is really nice! What is the red fabric? It looks really stiff. It turned out nicely, even if it is a bit mushy;p

I likey! How did you keep the edges of the hearts from fraying?

i love your business card holder!  the black stitches look sort of zombie-esque (^_^).  and Valloween?! what an awesome concept - i hate valentine's day and the blatent commercialism of the stupid mushy holiday (sorry didn't mean to rant in your thread)

Thanks, guys! =)
I'm glad the "zombie" stitching concept got accross!  I wanted
it to look like, "Oh, hold on a sec, my arm just fell off.  Let me
just quickly sew it back on.". I took this picture with my scanner,
so it shows all the flaws!.

For the hearts, I used this heavy fabric I had bought (also from Jo's)
to use for patches for my friends' band.   I  *painted* no-frey on the
back to keep it from..wait for it..not freying! =)

I think I am now going to make cheesy little Valloween business cards!
