For crafting space, you might want to try the public library. Many libraries have a community space, that is free if your event is open to the public.

Can I be added to the email list for the North Atl craft group?  I live in Alpharetta and would be thrilled to host one evening.

Hi All,

Just wanted to post about the new Southside Crafting Group and add an additional apology for having to make it on the southside of town.  Jen and I just don't have the time in our schedules to fight traffic - even for as good a cause as crafting.

I'm hoping that trying to do a couple of different locations around town will encourage people to come more frequently.  I know it wasn't that easy for people in Alpharetta, etc to make it to the Caribou either.

Even if you guys are in the Northside, send me your info so that I can add you to our listserv to send out announcements about meetings.  At the very least, Let's keep everyone in touch.  Hopefully, we can still meet up somewhere in the middle for extra special projects, happenings, etc.

Hey Crafty mama,

I posted a new topic for the new Atlanta Southside crafting group and I'm going to start posting instructions and directions there.

Our first meeting will be Nov. 4th (Thurs) at Javalogy, which is a new coffee shop on the corner of Edgewood and Boulevard (a couple of blocks south of the MLK center).  We picked this location because they're just finishing up a the 2nd floor where they're going to have big long tables where we can spread out.  This location should be easier for you guys in Decatur to get to than Caribou was.  I'll post more specific directions on the new topic thread by tomorrow.Message me your contact info and I'll make sure you're on the evites!

I know you're handy with the needle and would love it if you could contribute some projects and expertise in that area!  I'm all butterfingers in that department.
