I used tea to dye the fabric cover then painted a celtic knot on the front and back sides. The signatures were 1 sheet of handmade paper, ripped on the top and bottom and 1 sheet of white cardstick and 2 sheets of regular copy paper. On each signature (minus the handmade sheet) I used a sponge to paint the edges with a metallic blue green paint. The coptic stitch could be better but at least I'm improving... I cut some suede into strips and attached snaps to the top and bottom piece then glued them onto the book. Later I punched holes in it and added ribbon.

I have a booth for a festival on the 11th so hopefully I sell a lot of these.

Critiques are welcome, other than 'you need a manicure'...

This is beautiful! I love handmade journals, it makes it much more interesting to write in. Do you have any other designs, because if you do I would love to see! I know you will sell them, who wouldn't buy them! Man I wish I could live near you to go to the festival. Good luck with that!
