Me again...

I have not been having much luck lately and yet again I am here to ask you wonderful people for your help.

My memory is awesome and i can remember specific things from years gone by. Can you help me with this? My granny had quite a few of these beauties in her bedroom, adorning her bureau as well as her vanity. I found this pic on ebay and hope someone can take pity on me and tell me her identity? I have come up without luck using google although I don't know what i'm searching for.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Mandy

Sweetiepickles ~ Thank you so much for the name of her! I checked that link and they are certainly the ones I was looking for. I wasn't sure if there were any markings on her.

I use to love just looking at the lovely ladies. They looked so prim and proper. I figured they were from the 60's era. I was born late 70's but she's always had them although i think i'm the only one in our family that actually adore them.

Now I'm on a mad search to find one for sale!

Off to look....

I just passed one up at the thrift store for $4! If I come across it again I'll have to pick her up since I know someone's looking for them. I love their dresses but I just don't have room to display them so that's one collection I haven't started... yet Wink

titancia~ They use to be available everywhere. I've seen them here and there as well, but didn't actually think about them until my grandmother's health became grave. I know that people become very selfish at the worst of times and rather than fight with family, I am looking to find them myself.

If you can manage to pick that one up for me....i am willing to swap or pay for the doll.

Let me know just PM me.

And if anyone else reading this may have come across one, or have one Let me know as well! Thanks!

I remember those from when I was a kid.  I wonder if anyone ever thought to do one up like Morticia Addams?

I have one of these dolls that I bought from a mobile toy store (which is a guy with a giant truck full of toys that has toys glued all over the exterior) and I payed $4 for her. She is dressed as a little dutch girl but has a dent in her cheek. I've been looking for more at thrift shops and every time I see the toy man I flag him down but no luck.
