My friend Amy now owns the origional patchwork messenger bag.  She had a special request from one of her co-workers for me to make this one.  This girl wanted a yin yang applique and dragon print.  I came up with a way to combine the two without the bag looking too busy. 
Flip that flap up.

Inside shot.  You can see the interior pocket from here.

It broke my heart to put that awesome Alexander Henry fabric on the inside of the bag.  It just had to happen that way though.

In this case you just have solid panels instead of constructing the patchwork ones.

That's a good-looking bag! What a fabulous job you did! 
I love AH fabric...hard to put it on the inside where you can't see it!

Fabulous bag - great construction, love the shape & love the yin yang on the front flap, also love the AH fab on the inside.
