I dyed some roving last week with some dylon dyes.  The colors were lime and bahama blue (I think, not sure about blue name).

Here's a pick of it spun up and plied on the bobbin:



Here it is in the skein.  The color is off in this pic.  I was forced to take the pic inside due to the mosquito mob in the back yard.



The yarn is a wool and mohair blend that I purchased from sheep shed studio.  I got a pound of the black and white.  This batch was 5 oz. of it.  I got approximately 328 yards, give or take a few.   It still needs to be blocked, but I couldn't wait to show it off! Cheesy

ooooo, i like! i have some black and white roving from sheep shed too, but it's a little blended, yours looks more solid. anyways, i've carded some already, but i've been wanting to dye some for a while now, and this has motivated me to get my butt in gear!!!

Good for you!  I love dyeing roving and then spinning it up.  You never know what you're going to get when it's done.
