So, my dear sweet wonderful husband is going to teach me how to build computers, something that I have never been able to find anyone willing to show me. Well what kind of crafter would I be, if I didn't tell him to hold off on ordering the real computer parts, while I modified the case?  Taking inspiration from The Steampunk Workshop, and my shiney new Xclio case, I decide the first task to undertake is to cover her with copper leaf. This sounds very safe, and mundane, RIGHT up until I'm leafing the top, go to lift my hand up, and hit it on the side where you're supposed to attatch important computery bits, that is mostly rough edged holes in metal, I curse, and look at my hand, to be welcomed with, a flap of skin covering a quarter inch deep gash in my pinky finger, that luckily was at a pretty sharp angle, so I didn't get to see my finger bone. (one of my goals in life is to NEVER see my own bones, 24 years, so far so good)  I took care of it at home, because all I was going to get at the hospital was a bandage anyway, and two days later it looks like most of the skin flap is going to reattach itself neatly, yay!
