Well now that summer is here and in Texas it is already impossibly hot. I hate shorts sooo I recon'ed some skirts to fit better and turned some old tshirts into skirts.

if you would like to see a better picture of the stencil just let me know. Also if you would like the stencil I think I have the link saved.

Pocket!

This skirt is fun to wear, but the waistband keeps stretching bigger....

This was a dress or maybe it was a nightty.... But I cut off the top part of it and made it into a shirt for my sister a few years back. It was only yesterday that I pulled it out again and made it into a proper fitting skirt.

This skirt was far to long and it looked really awkward so I cut off the ruffle and made the skirt shorter and then stitched the ruffle back on. Now the skirt is a little shorter than I'd like... Ahwell I still wear it.

Thats all I have for now. My camera died before I could take pictures of everything. Roll Eyes

Have a good eve'ning

These are amazing! I really like the first one, it looks super comfy! What did you make it out of?

Thanks! It's made out of two (or maybe three) old tshirts. The gray part of the skirt was sewn flat to make a long rectangle that overlaps. Then the black part is from the torso of a shirt. I cut it off just below the armpits and pinned the black ragged edge to the gray and stitched it all around and then I just folded over the top! It's really nice and light, great for summer!
