Hi everyone!

I will be visiting the wonderful city of Tucson Oct 4th -31st and I am wondering where I should make a point of visiting?

I will basically have free evenings and weekends (OH!  and if any of you are working at the Convergys call center that's where I'll be!)

Where should I go to eat (budget) and shop (crafty and not).

Any local attractions I just HAVE to visit???

Where you should go to eat depends on your budget!  for starters, El Charro's is amazing Mexican food, and Schlotsky's (sp?) is deliscious.  eegee's is always good for sub sandwiches or hot dogs and, of course, eegee's!  (They're a bit like Italian Ice).  We have a lovely big Joanns that I can't for the life of me remember the location of........  Target is always fun to shop in!  If you're looking to sightsee Trail Dust Town is amusing and the Dinosaur McDonalds is rather unique.  I hope you have fun here, brace yourself for a lot less green than you're used to seeing!

On and around Halloween, Nightfall at Old Tuscon Studios is apparentlly very cool.  Never been, myself.....

I don't know what you want, but my LYS is kiwi knitting http://www.kiwiknitting.com/

And if you can find the University of Arizona Costume shop that is where I will be!

Goodbye Tucson! I will miss how everything dried so quickly!
