Pa's Gallery

YEAH! I received my last package from gkwife!

First we have the letter and three of her favorite things:

1. Sharpie 2. buttons 3. candycone

Then here's the middle item (gkwife did two middle instead of five small items):

A toddle size fitted sheet

And lastly, the last middle item--however, I'll like to think of it as a large item rlol!

Front side of the blanket!

Back side of the blanket

Saving the best for last: the whole bedding that gkwife made for my lilo guy through out the swap Cheesy

(NICE HUH)--> my son absolutely adores his new bedding. Thank you Karla!

Action shoot: the lilo guy in his cars bed Cheesy

I received the SECOND package from my partner gkswife but wasn't able to post pictures untill now....gkswife, again, I'm so sorry for the delay.  I know you worked hard on this package and I absolutely love everything that you sent.

First: the letter and a book on how to crochet

Second: cookie cutters for my little guy and I

Third: fabric paint--an addition to my stenciling supplies

Fourth: A lovely and well done covered binder with tons of recipents

Inside view of binder

Finally! an apron just for me...thank you so much.  Notice how winkled it is? YUP that's because I've been using it ever since I took it out of the box Smiley

Extra: Matching hair clips (fabric is the same as the apron!)

Thank you again gkwife!

preg_replace('/(.{49})/', '$1 ', '________________________________________________________')

I received the FIRST package from gkswife today and lol...she send it yesterday! now...that's what I call fast.

Here are the things I received;

(Who You Are)

Letter and photo album of Karla's lovely family

(Where You Are From)

A postcard from New Mexico and The Wizard of the Oz book e.g. Kansas

(What You Like)

Karla loves Jellybeans and  Pop Rocks

(What You Do Best)

An awesome LightingMcQueen pillow case...

...and the purse organizer that I never have the time to make

Labels and my name!

(gkswife spoils me with...)

Pen from her church ministry and a Cars frisbee for my lilo guy

ALSO not picture....a box of sour patch...which I love and was only able to get a piece before my son stole it all away :|

Thank you Karla! I love everything you send! and I hope that you have a safe trip out to Kansas.

P.S. Everything was nicely packaged and labeled.

Second AWESOME package I received:

She sent me supplies to start painting with watercolors. Which is pretty freaking awesome, because I had been really thinking about trying painting! I even had several watercolor websites bookmarked. I also got more yarn to add to my stash, because oh, I love yarn. Maddie has already claimed the purple furry stuff, saying she wanted legwarmers for dance class. Not shown is what she got - a really neat craft 'cup' for kids that had the materials to make several different projects - a necklace, a window cling, etc. Maddie pounced on that the second she saw it.

And these are really neat - a PORTABLE watercolor set, blank postcards to be painted on, and blank cards. I'm really excited about sitting down and making them.

The post office was holding on to my package for some reason they couldn't explain, so I did not get my package from the lovely mserocks until recently. But it was totally worth the wait!

I opened the packaged to find everything tucked inside an awesome tote bag that she made:

One of the first things was a goody-bag for my daughter, who was THRILLED:

She was like "She sent CANDY?? She is SO NICE!"

Close up of the goodies:

I got a spice catalog and some nummy spices:

And the local items which include a t-shirt that I love, which says "Made In Texas". Pretty awesome, because I was born in Texas:

Wicked socks and some chocolate that I consumed.... embarrassingly quickly!

And last but not least, a very pretty dragonfly picture frame, more yarn (because everyone needs more yarn) and a dyeing kit which I am VERY eager to try out. Unfortunately, the picture file was somehow corrupted?

As you can see, I was quite spoiled. THOROUGHLY spoiled!

The ultra cool last package (I'm sad to see this over)

the allrything

Slingmomma's Faves:

cuts from her favorite fabrics, I have to figure out what amazing thing to make from them. Her fave herb is garlic, I love garlic too but understand why she didn't want to include a clove of garlic, instead she made me this cute magnet which I promptly stuck on the fridge door for holding up important photos and notes saying I'm out of garlic again.  Her favorite chocolate bar (she's a chocoholic).

Slingmomma spoiled me with these beautiful handmade items:

A very pretty necklace that fits wonderfully.

This was the first pendant of this kind that Slingmomma has made. I love it! (I love trees and was originally the organizer of the tree swap but had to back out of doing so due to mass amounts of school work). I love how she used some of the beads I sent her in the last package.

This embroidery piece is so wonderful. I've decided to make my craft room a tree sanctuary this beautiful tree is going to be the first hanging.

Some detail (sorry about the shadow)

The Ever Amazing First and Second Package combined from Slingmomma!

Everything came wrapped nicely in bright pink tissue paper with little instructional notes written on them.

The Where I am From.  A Super Awesome keychain and newspaper.

She made this ridiculously cute/awesome mini scrapbook.  And she loves frogs so I received this cutie handmade by her.

Between Taoj and Slingmomma I have no excuse why I shouldn't know how to crochet. These two fantastic ladies have set me up for success!

A knitting kit... I love the hedgehog needle book and pincushion (complete with instructions), and the quilt tutorial/ fabric is incredible.

What Slingmomma does best!  I love love love love this bag.  So does Panda Yu. He says it's his overalls.

I was very spoiled and love everything!
