Okay.  So, I just sent off my package for the WoW.. World of Warcraft Swap.  I personally have never played the game.. but I have some really good friends who LOVE the game.  Well, when the swap came up I knew they would love to be a part of it.

So, I signed up under my name.. I made everything.. but they, of course, helped me to figure out what to make for my partner and helped me to understand the game and try to figure out things that my partner would love.  Well, my partner did send me a few captured screen images of her characters and one included a good view of a tranquil mechanical yeti that she engineered.  Well, my friend whom I'm doing the swap for is a fantastic artist.. mostly comic type things.  So, I had him draw just a simple sketch from the screenshot my partner gave me.  She had mentioned she thought it would be awesome to have her yeti on a bag.

Well, I took it from there and put a little dash of my own personal creativity in the mix.. and voila!  I came up with this bag.  The tote itself I purchased from Target.  The lettering I used Sublime Stitching patterns for.. and of course the drawing is courtesy of my friend.

So... sorry for the whole novel I just wrote.. and I hope ya'll like it!!!

And an upclose view of the yeti

I was really and truly like a fish out of water for this swap.  I had a very difficult time thinking up things to craft for my partner.. but I think I did a good job in the end and I really hope my partner enjoys all of her goodies.

Thanks for looking!
