so i used my mom's tablerunner [and accompanying patchwork pillows, soon to come] as an experiment for some free motion quilting... i think it turned out well : )




the diagonal lines quilted through the middle


my free motion on the sides of the table runner, they hang down and look pretty : )


close up of my stitches. they're still really uneven and sometimes i get little loops and spikes.. i need to work on moving the fabric better!


binding [yay, joann's bias tape] and my corners.. not too bad


the tablerunner being put to good use [can you tell my mom loves goldens?.. there's one under my feet too lol]

I think you had a great idea using a table runner to practice free motion quilting.  It's a good size.  I think you did a great job.  Cheesy
