Hi there,  Im trying to find a copyof "a quilt for elizabeth" by Benette Tiffault.  I am making a quilt for a friend that has less than 6 months to live - its to snuggle her little boy (6) in and read to him, so that he will have a snuggly to remember his mum with.

I read the synopsis of this book, how a child loses someone dear to them and they make a quilt out of the old clothing so the child will feel she has a piece of the loved one.

The problem is, the book is out of print.  Only 2 copies available in USA (Im in UK) and they're selling for $120+  Shocked which I havent got.

I wondered if anyone had a copy and could photocopy or scan the pages for me?

Or even a copy you could let me have?  Doesnt have to be new of course.

Thanks in advance!

I searched all the online library databases in my area, and couldn't find it (San Jose, CA).

What about having the parent and child write a book together?  When I looked on amazon, it suggested 'saying goodbye to daddy' as a similar book...maybe buy that book and use it instead?  Or use that story as a base for the mom to build on?

I've got a handful of vintage patterns up for trade/swap (1950s/60s): Monograms, embellished bags, men's robe, lace work, spats/bags, bell bottom, mod dress.  PM if interested.

Looks like it's 8.25 pounds on amazon.uk, although they are out of stock...

Experienced Books has it for $6.99 + shipping http://www.allbookstores.com/book/compare/1561230340

This is the publishing copy, you could get lucky if you give them a call, they don't list it on their site though...
