I patiently wait each day for the postie to arrive.....and still no package Cry

Off course Jillville is still waiting for hers too. There seems to be a black whole somewhere between Scotland and Germany. Both parcels went in and neither has emerged yet.  Huh

Still waiting patiently!!

I haven't heard from my partner in ages and I have no idea if my parcel has ever shown up or not. I still haven't received either, so I thought I would show you all what I sent. I was very pleased with it and tried to incorporate as many of her wants into each item.

5 Themes:
1 rock'n'roll 50's kitsch - Vintage 50s butterfly Shawl with Vintage 50s gloves
2 recycling/ reusable fashion - bangles made with plastic bottles and charity shop ties one has "OMG PLEASE STFU" embroidered on it.
3 powerpuff girls/ superheroines - I made her own Powerpuff girl called Butterfly and painted it for her wall.
4 tattoo - I bought a journal and embroidered a Monkey Tattoo cover and added lots of vegetarian recipes decorated with hand drawn tattoos
5 i <3 my hairy little fat monster cats - I took a picture of her cats and embellished a charity shop t-shirt with it. Using applique, paint and embroidery.

These are the items from her list that I managed to incorporate.
Crafted Items List
# painting or photography
# jewelry
# mixed media tee
# subversive embroidery/ cross stitch
# handmade journal w/ maybe some nice vegan/ vegetarian recipes
# scarf/ shawl

The group photo

Recycled/reused bangles

Front of journal

Some inside pics of journal

The cats

Vintage 50s Crochet Butterfly Wrap

The extra that made me a couple of days late sending. I think they were really worth it. Vintage 50s Crochet Gloves

I sincerely hope that this parcel jumps out of the black hole that it has entered and arrives at Jillville's door.

zombiecazz, I love the journal cover. Are the monkeys themselves crayon-tinted or painted on??? The wrap and gloves are especially cool (note to self: learn to crochet when the weather finally cools off around here!).

The monkey's are painted on with acrylic paint.
 Thanks for the lovely comments.

I love to crochet. You should definitely give it a go.

Why is it the person who's package is phenomenal who gets flaked on?  Zombie, your package is amazing.  Those kitties are amazing!  I would have been overwhelmed by your generosity and talent if I had been your partner!  ps those monkeys are amazing too!
