Hi,
I made some red heart shaped earrings whilst experimenting for a finished swap (on something completely different).
I like them but would like other people's opinion to see if they are a bit too much?

Both of the together (picture is a bit dark- I had to use my phone's camera, sorry)

Two views of them on from different angles

Thanks so much!  Grin

They're adorable! I would totally wear them.

What is the red stuff in the middle?

They're a bit big for my taste, but I know a ton of people who would totally wear those. The texture is really interesting, the color is nice and they are just all around cute Smiley

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

Those are great! What did you make them out of? Wire and some sort of resin or paint? I'm really curious, because it looks like you can do a lot with this kind of technique. Very cool Smiley

Thanks so much for the great comments!

They're actually really light in weight and very simlpe to make.
I just made a heart shape with copper than randomly wrapped more copper round. I work hardened them by hammering and then I put them on a baking tray covered them in....(dun, dun duuuh)

red embossing powder and baked then at a very low temp for about two mintues.
