To celebrate finishing uni, my friends and I had a pizza party - we ate pizza, and also crafted pizza! ^___^ I made one big pizza, which I sliced into smaller segments to make pizza slice necklaces and also one smaller pizza to wear as a brooch.

We made the bases using plain super sculpey and then we made all of the toppings; I tried to make canes of my ingredients, but it didn't work so well. I'll have to practise more! ^___^ We baked the bases first since they were thicker; the toppings were really thin, like sprinkles, so they didn't take long. For the cheese, we mixed yellow acrylic paint with cream coloured puff paint (since I couldn't find any yellow puff paint at the craft shop) and then globbed it on with disposable plastic teaspoons. We used our fingers to put the toppings into place, but tweezers probably would have been a good idea too! Then we put them back into the oven (which was off but still warm from baking the clay before) so that everything was dry and easy to take home ^____^ The next day I glued on the jewellery hardware and have given away most of the pizza slice necklaces now - I have a lot of friends who are fans of fast food! ~____^

Thank you all! ^____^ I must admit these pizzas started a small obsession with food jewellery for me, and I always get nice comments on my pizza necklace when I wear it out! ^____^

Such a sweet idea! (Also, awesome that you have uni friends you can craft with! Mine I just get drunk with, most of the time xD)
