I used the recipe and modified it by using honey instead of sugar and a mix of homemade cashew/peanut butter and it turned out WONDERFUL. YUMM!

This is definitely something I could make in the morning beforehand and pack for lunch. Or maybe even make in bulk for a bake sale! Very very easy, yummy and super healthy ( :

Thanks for the idea!

THANK YOU so much for this recipe!!!

My dad LOVES PB&J, so I made a small batch of these bars for his birthday last week.  Only thing is, he's diabetic... sooooooo I used sugar free jelly and splenda instead of sugar.  I think the texture came out different because of the splenda, and it was really hard to spread the peanut butter mix on top of the jelly (stupid splenda), but overall it came out pretty good!  I didn't taste it because I HATE peanut butter (call me crazy Wink), but my dad thought it was great!

Here's what mine looked like if you're curious:

Really, a million thanks to you, cardiganweather!, for sharing this!

I tried these out yesterday and i feel like i gained 20 lbs theyre that freakin good!!!! i did a few mods like using chunky peanut butter, cutting back a bit on the butter since pb has so much fat, substituted half a cup of reg sugar for brown sugar, and used apricot jelly instead of berry and OH MY GODDDDDDDDD i cant stop eating themmmm. they are SO RICH and decadent! i def need like a gallon of milk to enjoy them but its oh so worth it. thanks a ton!!!!!!!! mmmmmmm im gonna go shove some now!
