My old purse was in pretty bad shape, and I could not find a new one that I liked.  So I decided to make my own! (I needed a new place for my blaster pistols.) Grin

I think now I would have done things different, next time maybe.  Like not try to sew through 4 layers of canvas with my little machine. This was my first time making a purse and I had no patterns (and changed my mind halfway through sewing) also, this is my first time attempting piping and I am rather pleased with it.
The piping is not as wonky as it looks in the photos, my camera died after squeezing off these 4.  I still have a few finishing touches to make, but was too excited to wait.  Ironically I went to the library today and rented a few star wars books (no I did not stage the photo, they were still in my bag from work.)

Anyways, onto photos...

I like it very much. What did you use for the print? Transfer paper??

Thanks for the kind words!

angelusnoctis: yes it was just transfer paper, the first time I wasn't thinking and forggot to lay down the cover (kind of wax paper stuff) and melted it to my iron (thank the Gods I was able to peel it all off!)
