The title says it all.  Specifically, I am having problems understanding on how to do the back collar.  If anyone has worked with this pattern, any help would be appreciated

I'd like to help but am confused by your question, there is no collar. (thanks for linking the pattern, it really helps!)

Is it a facing you are having trouble with? what does it say on the pattern piece itself (the tissue one). Quoting the difficult instruction bit is good too.

Facings are one of those pieces that don't look like they do anything, but skip it or do it wrong & you realize how important they are. Basicly they make the other things sit right/ look right, they are like support beams inside the walls of your house Smiley

There is actually a collar part in the back (that's even what the pattern calls it.  I actually figured it out after lots of cursing and putting it together wrong and then taking it apart. :-)  The pattern was just really hard to follow as to how to put it together and where to sew and where to press.  Thanks .

I really wish you could see the pattern instructions on the big companies links, it would make buying & assisting so much easier! I've been sewing a long time & I still pull out the instructions & give them a once over in the store before buying. Sorry I couldn't help more.
