well, sorry for the long Subject Tongue
i wasn't sure where to post this, because i used giant tshirts as material, but i used a pattern to cut the pieces and everything and pretty much didn't use the original parts of the tshirts.....

i made them with the FREE burdastyle pattern "Idit Top" http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/show/166

i made the sleeves different because i wasn't sure those would be flattering on me, too puffy i guess. i made them "normal".
i made this one first, made from a not so large tshirt, so i stretched while i cut the pattern pieces Roll Eyes
and used black ribbing for the waistband

(i cut my face because i look fearful Cheesy (i didn't get dressed today, and of course didn't took a shower either Roll Eyes)

the gathered part i made it "my own way" not as said in the pattern (it was a last minute choice, i wasnt gonna gather)

the second try: the shirt was bigger => more available fabric, this one looks more like the original pattern, but with regular sleeves too.
also i made it longer than the pattern said.

the gathering (like the rock band Cheesy)

i made these tops to wear over old too-belly-showing summer tshirts Tongue
it was an easy pattern and it really works for what i wanted.

Hope you like it too, and try it Wink

thanks for reading and posting, have a great night

saludos para todos
