    * Basic Clay Facial Mask Base: 2 oz Green Clay
    * 3 tsp. Cornflower

Mix together and keep in a jar ready to combine into one of the formulas below. Smooth the paste on the skin, leave on for fifteen minutes and rinse off with warm water, then pat face dry.

    * Normal Skin Facial Mask Basic Mask Base 1 tbs. Egg Yolk
    * 1 tsp Water Combine and use 1 drop
          o Geranium Oil 1 drop
          o Bois de Rose 1 drop

    * Dry Skin Facial Mask Basic Mask Base 1 tbs. Egg Yolk
    * 1 Sweet Almond Oil
    * 1 tsp. Carrot Oil
    * 1 tsp. Water 2 tsp.
    * Combine and use 1 drop
          o Chamomile Oil 1 drop
          o Rose Geranium 1 drop

    * Oily Skin Facial Mask Basic Mask Base 1 tbs. Brewers Yeast
    * 1 tbs. Water 1 tbs.
    * Combine and use 1 drop
          o Rosemary Oil 1 drop
          o Lavender Oil 1 drop

Do not apply any type of facial mask just before a special occasion; the reason for this is the drawing power of the mask can flush the skin.

I was just reading this book "The Worlds Best Kept Beauty Secrets" by Diane Irons, and in there it says that the best mask, that even high up models, celebrities, and spas use, is just plain kitty litter. 100% natural clay with no additives, take 1 Tablespoon, and mix with water to form a paste. Feels refreshing and kinda minty. The minerals in the clay are also good for you;p

Wow, kitty litter? I never would have thought of that.

Here's a recipe I posted a while back...

Here's my version of an oatmeal mask. I always keep a jar on hand filled with these dry ingredients and mix with water in a small bowl whenever my skin needs a little extra lift.

Rock Receptionist's Oatmeal Mask

Ground Oatmeal - 2 parts
Ground Dried Lavender - 1 part
Ground Dried Chamomile - 1 part
Bentonite Clay - 1 part

I have an electric grinder just for herbs, but you could use a mortar & pestle to get the oatmeal and herbs ground up nicely. The bentonite clay is a good way to balance the pH in skin, oatmeal draws out excess oils, and the chamomile and lavender help moisturize, as well as relax the senses. Sometimes I add ground dried rose petals as a bonus and to add some more color to the mixture, if I'm giving it as a gift in a clear jar.

All amounts are approximate. I recommend using organic ingredients, because your face deserves it!
