I made my first sock monkey!! from a tutorial found here: http://www.web-goddess.org/writing/tutorial/Image0.html this tute was WILDLY helpful, she didn't make it look too easy or too hard.

so here's the Ruby Casino sock monkey, up close:

and the whole she-bang:

I made this monkey for one of our jeerleaders, Ruby Casino. I play roller derby in St. Louis and we'd be lost w/o our support staff! It's even constructed from gen-u-wine roller derby history, I wore these knee-high socks my first season.

I've got so many socks that are out-of-comission I could make an army of sock monkeys, and I just might. The outfit was ten times harder to make than the monkey, I'll stick to people clothes from now on thanks.

have a great day, thanks for looking!

OMG...he is so cute.  When I saw the thumbnail I immediately thought it was  Flava Flav.  Is that wrong? Undecided  Great job!

hahahaha, not at all! I can absolutely see the resemblance. I was going to pick out one thing that looked especially Flav but it's kind of a whole package...
