Such a cute bird, that's a great page!

I love looking at fat journals too, it's so great to see all that artwork stacked up like that! Grin

I just discovered this thread and I love it! I have the perfect book to use too. It's an old book I picked up at a used bookstore for 79 cents titled Prehistoric Man and the Primates. It's pretty useless as far as information but I love the aesthetic of old books. It's the perfect size, too. I'm getting started right now on the cover. Whee!

Sounds awesome! I can't wait to see what you come up with Tallyboo!

A new page...

Lots of things here...my MotoGP wrist tag from this weekend, my feria pass from Thursday (the page colours match my flamenco outfit), and some scribblings from a conversation game we played around a camp fire at the weekend.

and a wip...

I think I'm going to make that left page into a kind of playing card.

Only tangentially related, really, but my Wreck This Journal arrived today! I'm intending to fill it with stuff and silly journaling and secrets as well as just following as many of the instructions as I can. It's win [grin]

I haven't worked on mine at all, but I just now did the front cover of my book! It's now covered with a whole bunch of eyes from magazines! I really like eyes and cut out a whole bunch over the weekend for a art project, but I never used them.

The book is Blood Will Tell by George Bagby. I've never read it, but It's a good size (5in x 8.5in) for me, with about 220 pages. I painted the back cover white, but I'm going to do something else with it later. I'm planning on taking it to school tommorrow to work on in my three art classes!!

So much fun and so great to do when you feel you can't do anything creative...it really helps you let go of things and teaches you mistakes are ok and awesome Smiley

Phizzy- I love the colors on the background of the first pages there so bright and eye catching and gorgeous. And I love the tea stamp.

Audio-I love eyes too  Grin
