Wasn't quite sure where to post this. I don't really make jewelry but i did use beads. Just felt it was more appropriate to post here because of the pain staking time in sewing
each tiny bead and sequins! lol
I was watching QVC the other day and there is a line of clothing that i love, just can't afford and thought..........hum, maybe i can give it a whirl!!
I did a simple process to do this, (other then stitching each bead on individually, but to get my transfer on the T-shirt was quite easy.)
I used opaque/iridescent beads & sequins to create this. Sometimes it will cast off in shades pinks and other times iridescent whites.
Around the neckline, i only sewed on a tiny bead omitting the sequin.
Here are two close ups of the dragonfly itself. One photo shows the pinks that were captured, the other more of the opal iridescent hue.
Actually when physically looking at this, it mostly is opaque looking (lighter=the bottom picture) just when trying to take pics more of the pinks come through. (i even tried not using the flash)
