lindyv321- I'm too sleepy right now to type all about the temari so I'm being lazy and linking you to Wikipedia's article on it. lol It explains about them really well. ^__^ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temari_%28toy%29

kaymadben- It's just to sit around and look pretty so it dosen't really have a useful purpose.

I normally prefer 'useful' items...but this is ...stunning! I'd make up a use for something this beautiful!

Love the quilling project too...soooo intricate and tiny...you must have super closeup vision powers!

THe owl bag rocks! It's so fun!

Love the jewlrey items posted thus far....

Dang ... so much to wish for! I haven't seen anything I wouldn't love to receive! Smiley

I'm experimenting with resin and some of my 4 leaf clovers....for a personal swap with beadizzygirl. She'll have the pick of the lot, but I'm thinking that might be what I'll offer here...if they come out alright that is! Wish me luck! Wink If not, then I could do a soldered pendant with one of my drawings sized to fit in it.

Check out Trinkets & Jewelry! Wink

With all those four leaf clovers, you shouldn't need any luck from us  Wink

I received my new paper today in the mail, so I can start up again.  After a while I do get a little blurry because everything is so small, but I'm balancing it out with a project with much larger flowers for another swap.
will you take me to gang practice? yis?

I'm just finishing off my item, it turned out a bit big though. No worries - I have an ingenious idea to fix that. Wink

OK, I just thought of something that I would like to make for this, but I'm not going to sign up until I'm positive I can get it finished. This weekend is kind of full, but I am hoping to make time and get started! This swap just sounds like too much fun to miss and the items people are making are fantastic! Wish me luck.  Smiley

this is my entry:

this wine bag holds 3 bottles, it has 2 buttons separating the bottles, and a piece of fabric covered cardboard in the bottom.  the print is wine labels and it's lined with a pretty vine-y print

action shot:

sorry to say that only one of those bottles survived the weekend, so the bag will be mailed empty  Wink

That wine bag is awesome! I don't drink the stuff myself, but I have family members who do...

And, a four-leaf clover pendant would be so cool! Oh, man...I don't think I can stand the suspense for another couple of weeks- finding out my recipient will ease some of the agony, but then I have to wait to find out what I'm getting Wink

This is too much fun--can't wait until I'm "assigned" then I really really really will have fun

That wine bag is fab, and would make a great gift for many people that I know.

Did you make up the pattern yourself?  Or would you mind sharing where the pattern came from?  I'd love to win that one, but I think I need about 6 more.

Cool!  I made the Best of 2009 twice!   Check 'em out!
