Oh I love that! It looks like the beginning of a muppet.

That's so right.
I'm loving this. Can't wait for tomorrows instructions.

Here's to giant feet!

Well I am now in the giant feet clan... I had to do 24 Trebles. lol
Well I wonder how this is going to go for my also. I have only like 3 colors of yarn in my whole collection and I am just about out of one. All I have are a light blue, black, and white. I just started and I need to get more colors of yarn plus different types.

Live in the present, Remember the past, And fear not the future, For it does not exist, And it never shall, There is only now.

i too had 24 trc, in my opinion tho i dont think that 24 cms is that big for feets.. i think i'm a 5/6 uk shoe size and 7us, i think its about average. i've decided to do 2! woo! i'm doing one properly and then the other one i'm keeping just one colour just to see how it turns out. i will post pics tomorrow of my progress! i am excited about it everyday! its a great reason to get up in the morning!  Wink

All right, I'm hooked!  I, too, must participate.  It will be a nice respite from the everyday world to have this to look forward to.

This is such a great idea and appeals to the adventurer in me.

Hook on!!!!

The problem with being middle of the road is that you are bound to get run over.

Well the first yarn I grabbed was this Patons Classic Wool in a variegated green/brown that felts beautifully and my beloved Boye I hook (ch 21 - I counted the animals and 17 DC), then I thought my brightest yarn was this orange Patons Canadiana (I do have other yarn than Patons, honest) so I did 24 Triples with the recommended G hook.  Had a bit of a hunter's theme going on....

Then I remembered that I have some horribly neon-esque CSS Brights leftover from a rainbow blankie.  So I frogged the orange and replaced it with this neon lime green.  I have neon yellow too, but I'm going to save that until lilylola tells us to use the yarn we hate the most.  Smiley

So here's the new version that I'm sticking with.

FUN!  Can't wait for Day 3.

Need something crocheted?  I'll swap amis, afghans, shawls or whatever for a box of yarn.  Smiley
Where did I put my pliers this time???

Well, my little OCD brain couldn't handle the trailing base chain.  So I frogged it and re-worked it.

Pics will be forthcoming if I can get my SD card to work.

Ooh, I want to join! *runs off to do math and measure feet*

ETA: all done! I started out with 25 chains. If this was happening during the school year, then I would have had 20, the same as my name. I did that with CSS in violet with a K hook. I then joined the big feet club with 25 tc (size 9 US, my shoe says that that is a size 7 UK) which I did in Sugar 'n Cream. I forget what the colorway is called, the label wasn't on the yarn. As such, I just guessed for the hook and used an I, because my H is downstairs and I didn't feel like going to get it.  Cheesy Also, my trebles really aren't that wonky, it's the angle of the pic.

OK. All this says about me is that I have big feet and am pretty boring. Pink is the brightest yarn I have. I am building my stash here. I went over the remaining stitches so I decided to do a circular thingie to make it even more fun.
