Haha, I think I am going crazy with the "craft my..." swap ideas, buuuuttt...well, I was thinking about this idea...you know how there's the "Science is ART!" swap for the Bio/Chem/Physics people and the "Reading is Sexy" swap for the English/Lit/Education people and the "Art Swap" for the Studio Art/Art History people?

What if we had one big swap for everyone who is in college or graduated recently or even just wants something that has to do with their major or minor? We could pair people up with different majors/minors for some education and variety, or pair people with the same major/minor to help people envision things a different way.

Am I just a little crazy (yes, yes you are, 'karma) or does this kind of sound like fun to some people? It does to me...I miss school a little bit - at least the learning part, not the homeworking part - and would love something to get me excited about my major/minor again when fall rolls around.

This could be a neat idea! I once thought a full on psychology swap would be neat (that'd be my major, though I'm graduating in a couple weeks), but I don't mind making for other majors too! My minor would be tricky though... I think =- political science focusing on international development...

That sounds so cool! I am an anthropology major, creative writing minor, history minor.

It's been awhile.

I can't believe more people haven't responded--this sounds like a totally awesome swap idea. I approve wholeheartedly.

Yeah, I'm a Sociology major, Psychology minor with a strong love for Religion classes as well. I would probably be minoring in Religion if I didn't know that Psychology would help my major more.

I have a feeling that this will be a smaller-sized swap, so is anyone interested in starting up fairly soon? Are there dates that would work for some people better than others?

This is a GREAT idea! I organized the Science IS Art! swap, and it was SO MUCH FUN. There was a lot of variety - and lots of people were college students!

I'm a physical geographer/ecologist/climate/paleo person, but I used to be an anthro/history/English person, so I'd even get a big kick out of crafting outside of the sciences. Smiley Plus, as a PhD student, I'd love to be in a swap with more folks that are going through something similar.

I love this idea! I'm working on a Computational Media major (such a mouthful) and a film certificate. Before anyone asks my major basically encompasses graphic design, animation/special effects, and video game design. Much fun, I get to watch movies and play video games and call it class.

This sounds like fun :-) I'd totally be in for this. I'm an English major with a Music Minor and I want to get my Master's in Library and Informational Sciences.

This is a pretty nifty idea! I'm a studio arts major with a minor in Digital arts & media. And I'm hoping to transfer to UCLA next year so some college craft would be cool too Grin
