My lovely friend made this beautiful dress with her grandma!!! She doesn't have craftster and I know shes really proud of it, so I'm posting it for her...I'll send her the link so she can see all your nice comments.

It was too small for my dressform so here it modeled by a bed: the reason the black band in front looks blocky is because it is basically separate from the dress, so it looks better on.

The fabric is so gorgeous in real life. I think she used a vogue pattern, but I'm not positive...

That bow is too perfect! How on earth do you get it to look like that?! Please ask her! The dress is amazing too. Great colour!

well, the bow isn't actually a bow that you tie, it's sewn permanently like that and it clips to the band underneath...sneaky... my guess it she made a big rectangle loop or so for the bow part then sewed that little band round the middle. There are few tutes around, mostly in the EGL stuff for hairbows etc...
