Here are the pillowcases I've done for my sons (4 and 8 ).  They both picked out the patterns and colors they wanted.  They both also want more on the pillowcases, but I had to stop for now (too many other projects to do).  O's pillow case will get a large Garfield on the back and other Sublime Stitching kitties around the edges.  Moose just wants the same amount of stuff on his that O has.  It has become a huge sibling rivalry as to who has the better pillowcase.   Roll Eyes

Here are the links to the pictures.  Sorry for the shadows.  I just wanted to get these up and posted.   http://www.flickr.com/photos/25687386@N04/sets/72157605172587854/

Stitches used are backstitch, split stitch, french knots, and satin stitch.  This was also my first shot at tinting with crayons.  It was so much fun (but now I fear I may never learn to do a decent fill in stitch).  My 4 year old helped to tint the ball on his pillowcase.  He is SO proud of his work.   Grin

Very cute, great stitching.  I think I have that same sleeping kitty.  I was doing a google search awhile back for sleeping animals and stumbled upon a cute sleeping kitty and doggie that happened to be from the same site.

Those are sweet, I like how you involved the little ones in the project!  I've never tryed tinting but it sure looks great.   Grin
