I have had this project on my unfinished stack for months -- finally I picked it up again recently and finished it off.

It includes seed stitch (inside the clouds), running stitch (around the outside of the clouds), stem stitch (black around the outside), padded satin stitch (the lettering), couched stitch and running stitch (spaghetti), french knots (centers of eyes).

Final dimensions are a little over six inches wide by about four and three-quarter inches tall.

This was a fun project and I'm reasonably happy with the results.  I'm a pretty new embroiderer and worked with floss I already had around; I'm always working on my colors, I don't have a great sense for color as an artist or crafter.

Sorry, I think you'll have to click on the links below to see the photos since I haven't posted before.

Here's the finished product:

Here's the back (I know some people like to take a peek!):

Here's my original drawing:

This is a great project, very cool and I love the subject matter.

I am sure that FSM is looking down on you and blessing you right now for honouring Him in such a creative and aesthetically pleasing way.

If you haven't already, you should post it on one of the FSM message boards!

May you forever be touched by His noodly appendage.

I just did a class project on the FSM, dressed in pirate garb of course.  It was a World Religions class, and I think we confused a lot of people.  Anyway, I love this!  Great design.
