The dress is wonderful, but the cake is a lie.

So he finds her in a sprawl,
woven deep in memories revisited and reworked.
The scars get covered up with cherry blossoms that never felt as soft as this.

I haven't played the game, but I live and hang out with alot of people who do.  When my husband opened up his gaming store and our new friends caught wind of my craftiness, I got commissioned to make a Companion Cube.  Now, I hadn't a clue what it was until I started researching it, but just for the fun of it I thought I would throw in a picture for you!  I love your costume by the way=)  You did a fantastic job.

This sucker was big too, wound up being some 9 or 10 inches wide and tall

Thank youuuu, everyone! Let's see...answers...

@Adjective!: I LOVE Cyberlox! These were my first pair but they will definitely not be the last. I'm going to make a massive foofy pair with rexlace and dreads mixed in. They're so much fun, and so bouncy!

@eelkje: I did not use a pattern, unfortunately, but I saw one at Wal-Mart the other day that really looked JUST like the top of the dress. I'll find the number and give you a tute for the skirt, etc. And the ApSci logo on the back is appliqued, with satin stitch around the edges.

@dreamfyre: So cute! I'm going to make one eventually, but I wish I'd had one that weekend Sad

@lauralyn: Did you cosplay? I might've seen you Wink You look a bit familiar from your avatar...

I'm not doing personal swaps right now, but if you're interested, go ahead and PM me anyway--maybe we can work it out for later. Smiley
