I have a rottwieler cross mastiff that i would love to make a jumper for but i cant find any patterns large enough.
I heard you can adapt people hoodies to fit a large dog... any tips would be appreciated.

How can we have a beautiful ending without making beautiful mistakes?

I have a big pit bull, so I know your pain too.  I had some luck taking a large mens t-shirt and fitting it to him, but I'm always on the look out for patterns, and I've been working on making one for him, so whenever I get it finished I'll send a message with instructions your way  Wink

Had a pit, have a weim and dobe and I know that they get cold too!  Smiley We adopted a haversham pattern (etc... www.valleyvet.com/Pet/Pet-Equipment-Supplies/Pet-Apparel/Blankets/Haversham-Dog-Blanket ) which is pretty simple. Just added tabs to the bottom of the blanket to fit his underside. Measured the neck and made the opening for the head. Used flannel and quit batting on the inside. Hope this made sense.  Tongue

i bought some japanese dog clothing pattern books on ebay. these books specalize in cutting down human clothes to make into dog clothes. the instructions are in japanese, but there are easy step-by-step instructions, with no words. i made a lot of dog clothes that way. the books are around $20, but if you're looking to make some dog stuff, they are indespensible!
