I found this idea on deviantart (type in cheshire cat and you will find it) and I just HAD to try it! I have this crazy obsession with alice in wonderland, and it was the perfect accessory to carry around when I was alice in wonderland for halloween!

Kind of eerie, but REALLY cool! Love the execution of the idea Wink It is *so* very Lewis Carroll.

Okay... that's creepy. Seriously...I would NOT want to wake up and see that sitting across the room from me in the middle of the night. xD But you did a great job with it, and I might have to make one for my little sister (she will be 16 in June, my gosh...) Great work! I'm sure it'll be a hit for halloweeny stuff.

Really fantastic!  Just the right amount of creepy.  What did you make the ears and smile out of and how did you attach them?

I made some homemade playdough, and originally baked them and glued them on, but they didn't look right, so I ended up just molding the pieces of homemade playdough to the doll and just let them dry for a few days... then I painted it!
it sucks though, I brought him with me on halloween and I accidentally knocked him off my desk and a piece of his ear broke, I'm thinking about making another, and using that weird soft mold from michaels for ears and mouth... I can't think of what it's called right now...!

Thanks!  I was thinking polymer clay would work pretty well, but not sure what kind of glue to use.  Good luck fixing it, because it's definitely a 'keeper'!
