I am soooo lazy at uploading my projects. I made this like a month ago I think. It's just I never get around to take pictures.... Wink

So this is another version of the "elven" hoodie I made for my friends birthday. You can see it here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=228954.0
But this time I made it for me, and in purple! yay! Cheesy

I did the hood a bit different, and shorter. I started out making the pockets the same, but the shirt got too big so I had to sew it in and the pockets got screwed up. So I changed them a bit too. Next time I'll probably position them more inwards and upwards, it's not a super comfortable position for my hands right now. But overall I'm pretty happy Grin And BTW the color is completely off. I don't know what's with my camera but it's a dark purple with a lighter and slightly redder shade as the lining. Made completely in crushed velour.

A tutorial on how to make hoods like this is right here:

SKIRT::

This is a pleated skirt I made out of a cotton plaid material. It's sooo soft and I love it against my skin! I was going to make a lining first but I skipped that Wink

The pleating wasn't so hard. It was my first time so I looked in a book and on here how to do it but then I just kinda did it my own way anyway. I tried to follow the pattern instead of a specific size of pleats, but I think they ended up about 5 cm wide which is what I wanted anyway Smiley I sewed them down a few cm at the top so they would lay better. The waistband is just a tube with elastic through it. I wanted a zipper originally but I couldn't come up with a good way to make it hidden behind the pleats so I just went with elastic instead.

Can you tell it was a super hot day and I was sweating like a pig in that hoodie? haha Cheesy and I had to face the sun so that's why my face is all screwed up Tongue

Please tell me what you think! Thanks for looking Grin

When it's 1 am and you can see dancing elephants in the texture of your carpet, it's probably time to go to bed...

Nice hoodie. That skirt is something else, though, very professional looking with those pleats, its hard to believe its your first time doing them! Good job.

Every time I try to make a hoodie it never seems to come out right. I think it's the sleeves.....
