I just thought that I should tell you that I tried to make a clutch like yours. It turned out okay, and I cut some corners, but all it really holds is some money, my ID's, and a couple lipglosses. I'll take some pictures for you, though. Instead of a button, I used a snap... and I only have one flap on mine. I'll show you.
Yours turned out awesome, though!

I am a clutch addict. And that is by far my favorite.

Don't act strange. Don't be a stranger. It happened to me, now it's happening to you.

this is mine. i think it turned out pretty good for not using interfacing. the fabric isnt really my style, but the person i made it for will absolutely love it!  i also added a pocket and some cute hearts to personalize it for her. thanks for posting such an easy-to-follow tutorial!  Cheesy

i just finished making this bag and im very proud of it since it being my first bag and that i made it my hand. i didnt really use a button and i just put it there but instead i used velcro and for the curve, it was difficult to sew that so i just glued it.

back with flap up

inside flap

fake button thingy

last but not least, inside

sorry if the picture quality isnt the greatest, and thanks sooo much for the great tutorial!

Just wanted to thank Laurasaurus for this great tutorial, I made a modified version of the clutch for my cousin's wedding.  I am quite pleased with the outcome, but it was a bitch working with satin & pleats!  I added a zipper to make it more formal, and added a ton of interfacing & filler to stabilze.

Lining (I also added a hand embroidered heart)

it's a luscious mix of words and tricks...
