So this is my newest creation.. I just finished it tonight.. took.. well.. a longgg time..
but i finally finished it and I love it just as much as my gold one, even though they are completely different styles!!






I included a detail of the top.. I top stitched in hot pink to match the straps.
and btw.. i realized why I never want to sew bathing suit ties again..
They are insane to turn inside out!

anyway.. let me know what you think!!










So.. I never really wanted to make one of these because none of the ways of tying it seemed like it would look very flattering on me!

I loveeddd the way she tied the dress, so I decided it was worth trying!

I got some super soft knit from Wal-mart today (off the $1 rack of course)..
It took me almost 2 hours, mostly because I don't have a big cutting mat, and I was being a huge perfectionist about the edges being perfect!!







sorry.. crappy pictures again!!
Anyway.. I know it isn't anything new, but I like it =]

This is lovely.  I really need to check out this legendary Walmart $1 fabric rack.  If I knew where the nearest Walmart was, I'd totally go.

You have the perfect bod for this dress, especially in this style.  Great work.

I used about 4 yards.. but I bought 6 just in case (since that still only totaled $6!)
and my straps were 90'' long =]

the color of the dress is only a little off.. its a little bit softer blue.. slightly teal.. but my webcam isn't too good with getting correct color =\
