and I mean paper quilling.  I do a fair bit of it come the winter holidays, and wondered if I'm as weird as anyone who catches me doing it says I am?

"see, if we all thought the same way, we'd all have the same ideas.  it's a good thing to be different.  but minowis...what ARE you doing with that?"

CHOWI!!  I'm swapping again!

I learned how to a little while ago. I use it sometime in my collage and scrapbooking. Smiley

I'm a quiller.   Cheesy   I got into it in high school when I found a kit in the dollar store, and now make cards, ornaments, and jewelry.  I'd love to see some other work!  Minow, have you posted pictures of anything you've made?

Where do you get paper, by the way?  Do you cut your own or buy pre-cut strips?

There is some really great stuff out there but you don't see it a lot?

I am really interested to have a go though.

I used to as a kid, and keep meaning to pick up more paper.  The paper for it at my craft store is amazingly cheap- if anybody wants some Nova Scotian quilling paper, we can personal swap, haha!

I quill.  I have a few pieces I've done in the paper thread.  I don't think it is weird at all.  I sometimes make fun of myself b/c if someone gives me a compliment I think, "I just roll up paper, how artsy is that?"  But I've made some different types of things that I've usually seen and the people on craftster seem to really like the concept of quilling and have given me a lot of ideas.  I got started a couple of years ago and really used the quilledcreations.com website a lot at first..but like everyone else, then I started doing my own thing...however it is a great place for information and supplies.
