Has anyone made homemade tea bags before? I found the prettiest tea cup and saucer and thought it would make a great Christmas gift for my tea-drinking friend if I paired it with some homemade tea bags. I'd appreciate any recipes and/or suggestions! Thanks!

I know there are empty tea sachets for sale around me. You could look around, maybe some tea shops will sell them. Sorry, I'm no help with mixing your own tea mixes. Maybe you can find some recipes here: http://www.budget101.com/102mix.htm

Not fancy, I make homemade tea bags with coffee filters and unflavored dental floss.

I love that idea!  You could make pretty ones with the "brownish" filters.   Hmm, going to have to think on it but I could probably fold it to resemble a regular tea bag and tie off the pouch with the floss and add a cute tag at the end.

Yeah, another Christmas Gift!
