*update* i used alot of your ideas and put together the kit for my friend. It was a big hit at her graduation party, everyone said "thats a neat idea, i would have never thought of that."

but keep adding to the thread with more ideas if you have them in case anyone else wants to use this for their grad.  It really does make a great helpful gift.

Okay, so this may sound a little strange, but tampons/pads are great. Obviously, you'd have to be comfortable giving them and the recipient comfortable receiving them (haha!)... my sister got a great deal on tampons once, and when I went to college, gave me enough to last my entire freshman year! It was super nice, not only because they're so expensive, but also just not having to worry about making sure to buy them before I started... or having to run up and down the dorm halls screaming, "Does anybody have a tampon?!".... which some girls have done. haha.
