Take all the time you need.  I'm sure I can find something else around here to occupy my time (cleaning... crafting for me... find another swap to distract me while I'm waiting. Ah! That one sounds right!).  Grin

It.is.too.hot.to.craft. and no, I'm not having hotflashes. It was 91 degrees in our house yesterday - with the windows open and the ceiling fan going. But I'd be up to it in about a month when things cool off.

That's interesting. It doesn't usually cool off here till the beginning of September.  July and August are both equally hot and humid.

The wind starts to pick up in August and that helps a lot - then we head into "windy" season which is sucktacular. One year the wind grabbed our big gas BBQ an flung it halfway across the yard.

Dulcinea - no worries whenever you are ready. New jobs take some settling into. Hope you like it and they are treating you well!

Wow!  Hope the new job is going well Dulcinea!  I'm still here and will be happy to play whenever it happens so no worries.  Smiley

thanks, guys - today is the end of my second week, i got software to actually DO something the other day, so yesterday I was the fix-it guy (website had a few issues)

today i'm meeting with a software company to bring in an entirely new software system, and rebuild the website from the ground up - so i'm still alternating between "this is cool, i'm queen of the internet", and "OMG, what have I gotten myself into!!"

it'll be ok - first paycheck next tuesday, I wanna see those numbers!

So, um... how's the job going?

I actually don't have the finances to do the swap at the moment, but chance led me to wonder if the next round has an anticipated date, or if it's a "still in the distant future" swap.  Smiley

Interesting swap idea.  My problem right now is that there are too many good swaps going on so I'm constantly juggling!  If the timing is right (like not starting in the next 2-3 weeks), I'd be interested.

Dunno, Dulcinea hasn't been around in quite a while. Are other people still interested if someone besides Dulcinea organizes (provided she doesn't object, of course)?

Does anyone have her email address?  You could email and ask her.  If not and you are all still interested, let me know and I'll email her to see if she minds if one of you do it instead.  Dulcinea must be really busy, she hasn't been online since the end of July. Smiley
