This is my first (and sadly, only) knitting project this year.  Its a scoodie from the book Speed Knitting.  Although the color doesn't show up really well, I really love it.  Its a light green super-chunky tweed.  1 hank was $21, but I ended up having to buy 2, so it was quite the expensive project.  No matter.  I love it.

Back, Hood down:

My only complaint is that the hood is quite small. I have a big head and it barely covers my ears.  If I use this pattern again, I would probably increase instead of decreasing.

But, I was happy because I don't know how to knit in the round and I was pleasantly surprised that the whole thing was knit flat.  Ooh- and it has pockets!!

Comments, questions welcome.

You know me! I'm that musical loving, Wicked obsessed, knitting, aspiring crafter girl with that weird user name!

I've made a scarf like that, with the pockets. But never thought to add a hood.  very cute. I wish the colors were better in the pictures.  Undecided

Looking for those rubberband bracelets for causes! PM me!

Very cool, I have never seen that before, a scarf with pockets--it's a great idea.
And it turned out great!

This is the first scoodie I've seen on here with pockets so far. Great, I was wondering when someone would add them Smiley
