These are the scarves I knitted for the guys in my favorite band My Chemical Romance. I threw them up on stage during their show in Denver 4/14/08. It was so awesome because the lead singer, Gerard Way said how cool it was that someone threw a bag of hand made scarves up on stage. I was right up front and yelled "IT WAS ME" while jumping and he pointed right at me saying how awesome it was and thank you then gave me the thumbs up. The scarves are just a regular knit stitch so they didn't take very long to complete.  I learned how to make the labels on Craftster:)

Here is a pic of me the day I gave them to the guys.

My sis now thinks that I need to do this for every band I go see, I told her only for MCR.

I'm not a MCR fan but I'm from NJ like them. Now I live in Aurora, CO.

Point of all that rambling is THESE ROCK!

That is an adorable way to get noticed in the midst of a crowd! That's so awesome too that he acknowledged you and all, I'm surprised you didn't faint, haha!

LOLOLOL...  everyone in my family either likes or loves MCR - my 13-year-old daughter officially thinks you're the coolest (non-MCR band member) person in the world.

Beautiful scarves - I'm glad they appreciated them!

On a completely different note...  where, on Craftster, did you learn how to make the labels?  I'm still relatively new here...  Embarrassed

I have to tell you guys I almost did faint but I made myself stay up front till the bitter end.  We also waited outside until 2 am until the buses left and we didn't get to meet em Embarrassed  But I met some really cool people so it was worth it.

I found the labels listed as "TUTORIAL for Personalized Labels!"  by vanityandagun. Hope this helps.  Sorry I'm pretty new so I don't know how to put in a link.

Thanks for all the great comments!!!

I love Gerard Way.

I had Frankie in mind when I made the red and black one.
