i especially love the flowers on the crocheted (?) bag.  i have picked up my knitting needles again after about a year of favoring other mediums in order to make knitted flowers.  maybe i'll even be motivated enough to try crochet one more time.

First of all, I have to apologize to yellowblanket for taking so long to post her lovely items. Stupid real life keeps getting in the way of my internet time!

Anyways, here goes.

First a group shot of all the loot.

She sent me this beautiful yellow rosey washcloth. There actually is a rose design knitted in to the cloth, but it doesn't show very well in the picture. (I am sure someone who is not scared by all of the settings on my digital camera could get it to show. I cannot.)

She also sent me two beautiful knitted caps. I just can't wait till we have our five annual days of cold weather so I can show them off!  Grin I think this is as good an excuse as any to make myself a matching coat!

Yellowblanket also sent me beautiful flowery slippers. They are a little dirty in the pictures because I have already used them. Please also excuse my pasty, weirdly shaped feet!

One of the two items that don't have inidvidual pictures are a large packet of seeds for plants that attract butterflies. (It has seeds for four o'clocks in it according to the back. I love those flowers!)  The other item is a small copy of Knitting for Dummies. I can't wait until I have a chance to attempt to teach myself to knit again and see if I actually can do it this time.

Altogether, it was a great swap. I loved crafting for yellowblanket and I loved the swap package I received.

I love instant gratification almost as much as I love parentheses!

They definitely are cosy! I also washed them last night, and they held up well, so they are definitely well constructed.

I received from Ecstasia yesterday, I was so tired when I picked up the package I didn't open until today, and now my husband has the camera...........But she sent some wonderful homemade soaps, and some of the best smelling bath salts I have ever smelt!  Plus a votive candle and the class holder has flowers painted on the side. I will get pictures as soon as my husband gets back with the camera!

Thanks Ecstasia,
PS, maybe she'll have time to post some pictures of what I sent her too, since I forgot to take pictures before I sent Smiley

After some "issues" with my local post office, here's my package at last.

A white knit bag (it has a cute polka dot lining), a hair towel, a hat, and some little extras.  Cookiemaker showed me how to use the hair towel and it is pretty sweet!  The knit flowers are really pretty and are detachable.

This is my favorite, so colorful!  Thanks cookiemaker!!

I love that the handmade soaps say "handmade" on them.  Wonderful!  It looks like one is made with lavendar.  Am I right?

The hair towel is a great idea, and so festive with that happy-looking flower on it!
