Ok, I need idea help....I have several very low hip hugger jeans that I just can't wear...mummy tummy problems..The jeans are in such great shape I just can't part with them..Any ideas on changing the fit?

Personally I can't think of a way to extend a rise on a pair of jeans and have it come out looking right. I assume you are referring to a low rise and not the side of the pants. If they are in really nice condition, I'd probably try and sell them.. Smiley Sorry, not a very 'craftster' answer, but I can't see changing them and have them still resemble jeans. Perhaps you could turn them into skirts?

I'm with Aurorskye, very difficult to bring up a pants waist without them looking like maternity pants gone wrong. You can do the classic open the leg & make it a skirt bit, they will sit higher when not brought down by the crotch, so that too is a good option.

/sigh, I feel your pain, my favorite jeans are waiting for me to loose 10 pounds to get back in them...
