Trying to keep it gold...

This is the first chess set I did, & I am still in love with it. Does that make me vain? My dad made the penguins (knights). The board is a left over piece of sub-flooring & the pieces were made from the best molding clay-- Das Kompound (I can't spell). It's air dry & doesn't get all crumbly.

I love it!   No it doesn't make you vain, it just means you're appreciative of your own art...   always a good trait!

If I had the space for a chess set (or the inclination for chess, even...  I totally suck), I would try to make one.  But I bet it wouldn't be as good as yours.
