So this is my first 'completed project' post!  Smiley  I made this dress for my 1 and a half year old niece but I haven't been over to visit her recently so I don't know if it will fit her.

The pattern was so super easy that I'm glad I didn't pay the full price for it.

dress front:

dress back:

pocket detail (I used blue thread to match the flowers and to contrast the pocket a little):

I made my own bias tape out of the same fabric because I didn't have the right color of ready made bias tape on hand and I'm so glad that I did.   Grin  Here's a detail of it on the armhole:

Any comments/critiques welcomed!  Thanks for looking.   Wink

p.s.  I got the fabric at my local Joanns in their tiny 'juvenile apparel' fabric section.  This is what the selvage states:  "Social Butterfly" 2007 Designed by Janet G. Gossard for Fabrics by Spectrix.    Smiley

I love your choice of fabric.  The pocket and armholes look perfect too.  I hope to see an action shot of your niece! You are a great 'Aunt'!

that is such cute fabric. I also love that you made the bias show on the outside, I always fold mine to the inside so I dont have to make my own. Great job

Oh - next time I go I may have to try to get some of that fabric to stash away for next summer!  Love the dress!
