Thanks guys! I haven't taken a course, but that really sounds interesting! There are still a lot of things I'd like to learn that are driving me crazy trying to figure out, lol, so that might help!

In the ones above, I used headpins, jump rings and tigertail wire. I just ordered some illusion wire (love those necklaces!), some 22 gauge wire, and some chain - woohoo! I love dangle earrings with chain!

I started a few years ago with an interest in jewelry when my best friend and I were pregnant with our first babies (that also developed into GracieTom lol) and wanted to make baby bracelets... but, they were just too small for me, and I got irritated fast- never even considering making my OWN jewelry (duh!!). Then out of nowhere, I found myself attracted to beads... beads... beads... and so I started buying them and stocking up, not sure what to with them all. Then, I created a website for a client that designs jewelry - of course, I didn't want to knock off her jewelry as it was very unique in it's own way, but I realized that I had some ideas of my own that *if I could just get them to hang right, or lay right, or even get them on the wire right* would be just as beautiful, so I sat down one night with The Apprentice and ER and went to town. Now, I'm addicted!  Wink

btw.. all of these pieces are for sale at www.gracietom.com !!!

A good source for pretty much anything you'd ever need or want to make jewelry is www.firemountaingems.com.  They have everything from precious gems to glass beads to every possible kind of jewelry finding and wire and chain, too.  I've ordered tons of stuff from them and I've always been really happy with all their stuff.  And a bonus is they'll start sending you their huge catalogs too!

Tell me, are you a badfish too?

Really lovely stuff!
Another place you might have a look at for chain is Fusion Beads:  www.fusionbeads.com.  I haven't actually ordered online from them, but only because I live about 5 minutes away from the store! They've got a nice selection of items, and the employees are very helpful.
