I'm a little late jumping on this bandwagon, but damn. This is awesome. I'll be making them for everyone I know for Christmas! In a few weeks I'm going to my parents place (where the sewing machine and all of my fabric lives) so I'll be making a prototype, which maybe I'll use to sleep well in my new dorm room come the 25th of August Smiley

I finished my sleep mask about 6 weeks ago, and it's been a god send!  My bedroom in the flat I've just moved to has enormous windows, and is south facing, so I get the sun all day.  WHile this is lovely once I'm awake, it is not nice being woken by the sun at about 5am!

The material is just random stuff from my stash.  I used stripy blue cotton, a layer of black cotton & a layer of blue fleece:

Love your choice of fabric! I'm going to make these for my sisters.

Here's my eyemask, just started Crafster and can't stop.

A gift for my sister, with lots of other Hello Kitty stuff. I really dislike the topstitching, but it's still cute.

is that a jordy bag i see??? Huh Huh HuhI believe it is

Rah, it being nearly a year since I made my last one, and using it daily, it was getting a bit ratty, so here's my new one:

The fabric is gorgeously soft 'counting sheep' fleece I got in the ongoing fabric swap, and there's a layer of dark felt in the middle, which is wonderful.  It's a bit more sturdy than my previous one; I think I prefer it that way.

what a great way to use leftover bits of fabric....

i want one like Holly Golightly wears in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" -- if i could only devise a way to add the eyelashes....
