Hi all

My bio bit...My name is Laura. I live in Guelph, Ontario. (It's nice to see some Ontario neighbors.) I'm 30 something, a mom and "wife".(I'm still not sure what that is) I'm totally head over heels for my 2 yr old son. (I think it's a chemical thing that happens during pregnancy cause toddlers are nuts) Anyway, I'm a wannabe...I want to think that I'd like to live in the city but when I did, I hated it. Just like when I think the perfect job would be working in an office, I hated that too. And even tho I hated those things I still think I'd love them. I like musicals, almost all types of music, movies but not horror, comics, cartoons, anime, nature, animals, mystery novels and any type of book that tells me how to do something, alternative stuff like goth and punk( but to look at me, I'm a plain jane), I'm very practical and love sparkly things. Anyway, I was one of those people in high school that was too weird to fit anywhere. It turned out that I'm A.D.D. and wasn't very good in school except art. So it started at a very young age of making stuff. Any kind of craft I could try, I would do. Mostly I just do knitting, beading, cross stitch and sewing.  I learned that the projects had to be either small and fast or for someone else. (So I rarely make anything for myself.) If the project got to big and took too much time they never got done. I've spent the last ten years or more learning about how my brain works and how the (normal) people work. Spend many an hour just watching and trying to figure them out( the normies). So if I write anything that offends anyone or I just don't make any sense.....it's just how my brain works and I apologize now. I have to go and have story time with my son. So everyone have a great night and write yah later.

would you all die if i told you that we have someone that is pretty much ready to send?! Tongue

if anyone is wondering when you can ship out your swap packages, my answer is ANYTIME BUT if you have not made contact with your partner I suggest that you do not ship it out just yet. If your partner is MIA please let me know because I don't want you to ship and then they disappear forever! Thanks!

I will be starting the gallery on Monday.

That's some fast craftin', for sure.

I can tell ya right now I'll be crafting down to the send-out deadline  Wink. I'm thinking I will avoid the gallery until I'm ready to send out, so I won't be influenced by what others do (and so I won't have a huge case of the "crafting-ability doubts" setting in!!).

Ditto to that!

I've been working on small stuff, but I think Aroma and I have basically agreed that it's highly unlikely we'll keep to the minimum Smiley I'm ready to try new things and poor Aroma is going to be the recipient of some "interesting" things.

That's crazy business. But, Well done to them.! I've started a couple of things. But need to pick up some other stuff for 'it' cause I don't really have just the right stuff for what I'm making.

In other news. I fixed my sewing machine. By myself.! Yay for pulling apart bits that look like they're meant to come off, cleaning fluff out and oiling random moving bits.!

haha Smiley
